I gave this message early in 2017 at the Parent’s Summit held at Woodlands Church in Plover, Wisconsin. In it, I try to help parents understand the barriers between their kids and Jesus that occur in and through church – yes, that sounds backward – and how to help their children meet Jesus. As a pastor’s kid and life-long church goer I hope I offer a sort of insider’s perspective and first-hand account of overcoming challenges within church.
