Each week (give or take one or two here and there) I share three things I like – It could be a book, a movie, a podcast, an album, a photo, an article, a restaurant, a food item, a beverage, or anything else I simply enjoy and think you might too. You can find a whole pile of things, especially books, I like and recommend HERE.
1) “Take 5” by Dave Brubeck
It’s hard to know what to say about a classic. You very likely know this one. If not, you’re welcome for the introduction. If so, you’re welcome for improving your Friday.
2) “Peace Piece” by Bill Evans
Where “Take 5” is upbeat and uplifting, this one is quiet comfort for the soul. Bill Evans was a genius, and this is one of his most beautiful pieces.
3) “Willow Weep for Me” by the Dizzy Gillespie Quintent
Dizzy Gillespie was also a genius, and this introduces a third style and vibe to this jazz-centric post. This one comes with a quiet groove and some fantastic solo work.
