A handful of links that interested, amused or informed me from around the interwebs:
- Nelson Mandela passed away this past week, and there have been numerous beautiful commemorations of the great man. While this isn’t one of those, but it will introduce you to some facts of his life you might not otherwise have known.
- “Look out he’s got a . . .thumb?” Some amusing photos of what happens when guns are replaced with thumbs in memorable movie scenes.
- New York City’s subway system, Super Mario Bros. style! I bet it smells better than the current subways there.
- The Ultimate Christmas movie supercut, featuring any and all of your favorite Christmas movies: it’s so heartwarming and sweet and . . . violent.
- The greatest commercial the NBA has ever created. They ought to do one of these every year. It is goose-bump inducing.
